Augmented Reality is the overlay of digital information onto a real-world environment. Being able to see information in the context of the real world assists in making the material more relevant to learners. We use the latest mobile technologies to place, orient and move 3D models, images, sound and graphics. For example, in one completed project, delegates can hold a tablet over a person‘s chest in order to trigger a lifelike heart to appear. The viewing angle and the orientation of the heart can then be changed by moving the tablet causing surprise, concentration and memories of how a heart looks and behaves.
